Emma Rae Armstrong is a native San Franciscan Costume Designer, based in Los Angeles. Her drive for exploration and attention to detail contributes to her enthusiasm for making the impossible - possible.
Emma is a CalArts Alum, she graduated in 2022 with a BFA in Experience Design, Production Design with a focus in Costume Design. As a young child she was constantly drawn to fashion and clothing displayed in movies, museums, and everyday life. Emma’s interests in Costume Design include; film, theater, stop motion, animation, fashion history, and drag.
When she is not designing or studying you can find her watching drag performances, hiking in nature, and sewing historical garments.
